LOCAL TRIAL / PRIVACY
Local cuts stay local. Cloud AI is not available in this preview.
Effective August 10, 2026. This page describes the current public local preview.
What the current tool reads
The browser reads the video you choose so it can calculate metadata, sample frames, and identify likely hard cuts.
What stays local by default
Choosing a file and building the cut map do not upload the video. The detector runs entirely in the browser. Cloud semantic analysis is not available in the current public local preview; it will only become possible when complete production infrastructure is in place and you have given separate explicit consent.
What is stored
Structured results, your manual edits, and small opening-frame thumbnails are stored in this browser's IndexedDB so completed deliveries survive a refresh or closed tab. The source video is never stored locally. You can delete each local record from the workspace at any time, or clear this site's browser data.
Cloud semantic analysis
Cloud semantic analysis is not available in the current public local preview. It requires a fully configured production environment with object storage, async task processing, cost controls, and deletion receipts. When those are in place, cloud analysis will send the authorized video through the server-side gateway only after a separate explicit consent, never automatically.
Current deployment
This is a local-first preview. Choosing a file and building the cut map happen entirely in your browser. No video, proxy, or key frame is sent to any server. Account, billing, and cloud AI features are not yet available and will require separate production infrastructure before they are enabled.
Your responsibility
Only analyze video you own or have permission to use. The tool does not grant rights in third-party material.
